ADSA Partners met in Cadiz at the end of October to play an active role in LAMBDA WORLD. They also held a Steering Committee Meeting to move the project through the next phase from recruitment to implementation. Lambda World is a “Functional Programming Event” for web developers. The ADSA project held a display to publicise the project and to attract digital startups to join the project activities.
A particular focus for the project committee was the development of the ADSA internationalization Bootcamp that the University of Porto will deliver in the five different countries participating in the project: Spain, Portugal, France, Ireland and United Kingdom. The Bootcamp will take place over 2 days in each country during February and March 2019, working with entrepreneurship tools to assess threats and opportunities and to adapt the Value Proposition to new markets. It will also help startups develop their pitch to investors, negotiation and scaling up skills, and how to manage multicultural teams.
100 startups from those participating in the local bootcamps will also have the opportunity to travel to Porto to take part in the Pitch Bootcamp and Final Event in May 2019. This final event in Porto will offer the opportunity to pitch before investors across two sessions, have one2one meetings, attend to conferences, etc..
ADSA partners are currently finalizing the recruitment process, identifying startups interested in participating in the project activities. Other activities foreseen in the project area, access to mentors, possibility to attend international trade fairs, possibility to count with a commercial video, taking advantage from a soft-landing offer, attending local workshops.
